FAQs

How long does it take to see results from Pilates?

Pending how many times you train per week and what other activities you do will ultimately determine results. However most clients feel stronger and more flexible and mobile after just a few weeks of consistency practice. Visible changes like improved muscle tone and posture appear are several months.

How long does it take to see results from mobility training?

Some clients like to dedicate their sessions to just mobility training and others like the blend of Pilates and Mobility training. No two people are alike nor are their goals and requirements. Until we do an assessment to see the quality of your movements the answer is that it just depends. Most clients feel a change within 4-8 weeks of dedicational training but it really depends on what we’re dealing with regarding your body and its movement capacity.

Do you have other equipment?

Pending where we train. If we train at a studio then we have access to quite a lot of Pilates equipment such as Reformer, Vertical tower, Spine Corrector and Chair. This studio is in Mitte. If we train at your home then we will focus most likely on Mat based work with some accessories that is needed as a home starter kit. We can discuss what training you need and then determine the best place to practice.

What kind of training should I do?

There is no right or wrong approach here. Ultimately it comes down to your goals and body needs and what you like to actually do. Ideally you do a combination of things to improve strength, joint health, cardiovascular health. I highly recommend starting with a Functional Range Assessment as this truly is the baseline for your movement capacity and the limitations we see here turn into your programme plan and focus.

How do I book?

Bookings are by appointment only and I like to get to know prospective clients first to see if we’re a good fit for training together. If you’re ready to book then start by scheduling your session today. If you’re looking for more answers to questions then get in touch.

do you have a cancellation charge?

We all hate cancellation policies but alas we must have one.

Cancellations must be made 24 hours prior to your scheduled class to avoid forfeiting your session and fee. If you do not attend your class it will be considered as a no show and you will be charged the full session price. Sorry folks but we need a system to protect both client and trainer.

What is a functional range ASSESSMENT (FRA®)?

FRA® measures your joint function and movement capacity. It helps identify limitations, priorities, and where your training will have the greatest impact.

You’ll leave with a clear picture of how your body moves and what to focus on next.
